My Top 10 Vocalists


Male:

1. Gabby Alipe - The scar on his right eye was never scratched intentionally by the band members or himself. It is a Tattoo that means 'cat lady' in Maori.




2. Michael Barnes - Red won "Rock Album Of The Year" for Innocence & Instinct at the 2010 Dove Awards.


3. Johnny D' Andrea - He came from a piano pop rock band called October Fall then formed Archie Star, in which he shares lead vocals with his sister, Maria. The band released their album, Carry Me Home in November 2008.


4. Jamir Garcia - Slapshock performed at the Dubai Desert Rock Festival on March 7 and 8 together with internationally acclaimed bands like Korn, Machine Head, Velvet Revolver, Muse and Marky Ramone (of the seminal punk band The Ramones) and many others.


5. Myles Kennedy - He joined the group with former Creed members.


6. Dan Marsala - The band was initially named 67 North but was then changed to Big Blue Monkey. They then changed their name to Story of the Year in 2002 after they realized a blues group of the name Big Blue Monkey had already existed.
  


7. Trevor McNevan - He has a pop punk side project band called FM static


8. Shim Moore - He has a 3 piece band called  Sick Puppies, in which he plays lead guitar and vocals. The band was formed in 1998.


9. Corey Taylor - He originally wanted to play drums in Slipknot, but eventually chose vocals instead.


10. Paolo Valenciano - He is eldest son of actor singer Gary Valenciano.  



Female: 

1. Brooklyn Allman - She was nominated for a future cover of Revolver Magazine’s Hottest Chick in Metal. With an amazing voice and looks that kill, the vocalist of Picture Me Broken knows how to put on a great show.



2. Sarah Anthony - She's the lead vocalist of the band The Letter Black with her husband Mark Anthony (guitars/back vocals).




3. Alyssa Barlow - When Alyssa was 17, she was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), following a sprained ankle. Barlow initially gave up when the doctors told her she would never walk normally again. She credits God for her ultimate recovery.




4. Maria Brink -  She was asked in an interview on what is her idea about her perfect day and she said, "Having a beautiful morning with my son and mother then finding some cool adventure to explore somewhere, following that with a epic sold-out show and ending the night with the love of my life and passion."





5. Maria D' Andrea -She made vocals on two songs (Pull Down The Moon and What You Want To Be)and a duet with her brother (Ourselves to Blame) in their album Carry Me Home and made back- up vocals on the rest of the track.



6. Lzzy HaleOn March 22, 2011, Halestorm released an EP called ReAnimate containing covers of songs of different genres, including "Out Ta Get Me" by Guns N' Roses, "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, and the first single "Slave to the Grind" by Skid Row.




7. Tay Jardine - She is always compared with Paramore's Haley Williams and VersaEmerge's Sierra Kusterbeck but the difference is she shares vocals with guitarist Jordan Eckes.




8. Dawn Michele -Her favorite song off of all of the Fireflight albums is Wrapped in Your Arms, from the Unbreakable album.




9. Alexia Rodriguez - She wanted fans to see a different side of her with the release of "Lexia: Underground Sounds". Dark, atmospheric indie pop, and extremely melodic, the CD plays to her strengths as a songwriter.






10. Lacey Sturm - She received a pair of Grammy nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards for her work with Third Day: "Born Again" was nominated for Best Gospel Song and Best Gospel Performance.
